Rookie Maneuver

As a free and independent mind living in a 'red zone' of Baghdad, Iraq, I'd like to welcome one and all to my humble test page.

My intent will be to post random observations of the scene here, as well as commentary on US and world politics and culture.

First, I must figure out what the hell I'm doing. I've never blogged or posted or linked or anything else of that nature. The web for me has been a great place to e-mail, read news and opinion, and buy tons of movies from Amazon.

So we'll see how it goes...
